100 books to read in a lifetime

Do you love lists? I do, so when this one showed up in my email today from Amazon, I had fun reading through all the titles. I sorted them into three groups: 1) have read, 2) don’t want to read, and 3) ones I need to put on reserve at the library (probably not what Amazon had in mind!).

Overall, I think it’s a good list: check it out!

How many have you read?

Write soon,
Mary

  1. One of these years I will retire and have enough time to read AND write.

  3. I've read about 23 of them, but I call foul on including picture books. Delightful though they may be, I wouldn't put them on a "must" reading list for adults. Plus I think they left off some real winners. I guess the beauty of a book is in the eye of the beholder...

  5. I'll check this out and see how many I've actually read! I like your idea of "read" "don't want to read" and "will read."
